How did you learn about YR:I learned about YR through one of my teachers, who handed me a flyer for the Core/Bridge Program because she knew I wanted to learn how to make music.

What is your focus at YR Media: My focus at YR Media is sound design and sharing my knowledge amongst my peers to be the best we can be. 

Why are you a part of YR Media: I am a part of YR Media because the environment resonates with me deeply, and I see it as a place where people of color have the liberty to express themselves without feeling dismissed.

What have you discovered about yourself during your time at YR: What I discovered about myself is how passionate I am about art and how much I want my life to revolve around the arts and contribute toward the progression of culture. 

What would you tell a friend about your YR experience: I would tell a friend that my experience has been full of growth, both in expressing myself and how I view myself and my potential.

How will you use the tools that you have learned at YR in the future: I will use the tools I learned at YR Media to make a living from my art and follow a path that will ensure more artistic opportunities for the youth of East Oakland and other neglected communities.
