How did you learn about YR: I learned about YR through my dad. When he was a teenager he also worked for this company.
What is your focus at YR Media: Teach YR, where I help plan events and organize information.
Why are you a part of YR Media: I am a part of YR Media because it is a place where I feel safe, and accepted. I feel like I am able to express my creativity freely here.
What have you discovered about yourself during your time at YR: I discovered that I like to write about music, movies, and that sort of thing.
What would you tell a friend about your YR experience: I would tell my friends that this is a safe space for literally everybody, and that we get taught valuable skills to use in the media/entertainment industry.
How will you use the tools that you have learned at YR in the future: By applying to jobs/different internships that require the skills I learned at YR to go further in my career. For example I will apply to jobs that require experience in event planning.
