POPSUGAR/YR Media Host Young America 2020 Election Virtual Roundtable

As the most important presidential election of our lifetimes inches closer, young adults across our nation joined together to speak about the issues they care about most in a virtual roundtable led by lifestyle media site POPSUGAR and YR Media.

The digital discussion provides a platform for participants in YR Media’s 18to29 Now: Young America Speaks Up project, a content collaboration between YR Media and WNYC’s Radio Rookies, which explores this key 18-to-29 voting demographic's interests, needs and demands at a pivotal moment in our nation’s history. Topics up for discussion include Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ rights, the environment, immigration and college debt.

This discussion was led by Kelsey Garcia of POPSUGAR and Merk Nguyen of YR Media's Adult ISH, and features participants from across the country, including Erianna Jiles in St. Paul, Minnesota, Juan Mireles-Palomar in San Francisco, California, Sage Townsend in Louisville, Kentucky, Sher Delva in Boynton Beach, Florida and Kaleigh Cunningham in Missoula, Montana.
