Meet Julius Toledo, YR Media Board Chair

Julius Toledo : Shaping the Future of Entertainment

Welcome to a new series designed to introduce our readers to the talent behind the movement. We’re kicking-off with introductions of the Board of Directors, and will continue to introduce members each month.

First up, meet YR Media Board Chair Julius Toledo, Partner Manager for Global Platforms at Warner Bros.

With a passion for centering next-generation voices and over 13 years of experience in digital media and technology, Julius brings a unique perspective to his role.

Toledo got his start with YR Media as an education and career manager more in 2007, helping to develop the training and professional development support services that are still a foundational part of our work today.

Through the years, his commitment to ensuring that young creators have access to the resources and support they need to thrive in the ever-evolving media landscape never wavered.

Toledo was motivated to join the YR Media Board of Directors in 2013 to support the organization's success rate in cultivating talent, providing professional opportunities, and equipping young people with essential skills to navigate the industry.

“None of that would be possible without the support of YR’s donors and supporters,” said Toledo. “I always urge more people to get involved. By doing so, you have the opportunity to contribute to a more diverse and inclusive media landscape and foster dialogue, understanding, and social change.”
